MarShall Ledoux of Grand Coteau. Their marriage was celebrated Saturday evening at the Methodist parsonage with the Reverend A. A. Collins officiating in the presence of relatives and very close friends. For her wedding, the bride chose a gray gabardine suit, smartly styled with which she wore black accessories jand a.corsage of white carnations.

Mrs. Oscar Dunbar, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and her only attendant. She wore a green gabardine suit, luggage accessories, and a corsage of yellow carnations. Oscar Dunbar served the groom as best man. Mr.

and Mrs. Ledoux will make their home in Opelousas. Mrs. Wills Entertained At Afternoon Coffee Gathering One of the most enjoyable partles of the week was the afternoon coffee gathering at which Mrs. Chester Johnson was hostess entertaining Tuesday at her Parkview apartment and in honor of Mrs.

R. V. Wills who left today for Franklin, where she and her family will make their home. Mrs. Wills was wearing a stunning winter white and black wool frock when she stood with Mrs.

Johnson to receive the many guests who had been invited to bid her farewell. Mrs. Johnson was wearing a black crepe ensemble. Camellias and Japanese magnolias were used to decorate the living and dining rooms for this party and during the afternoon Mrs. Johnson assisted by Mrs.

Orville Jorgensen and Mrs. David Blackshear served coffee and petit fours. Mrs. Wills was presented a lovely crystal gift and a corsage of white camellias. Guests calling, included Mrs.

Wills, Mrs. Orville Jorgensen, Mrs. David Blackshear, Mrs. John Boelens, Miss Floriska Caillouct, Mrs. Frank Miller, Mrs.

Emma Healey Fontenot, Mrs. Paul Purser, Mrs. Glenn Madere, and Miss Marie Louise Allen. Mr. And Mrs.

Armand Stelly Honored On Sixtieth Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Armand Stelly of: Arnaudville were guests of honor when their children entertained at a lovely lawn party at the family home in honor of their parents' sixtieth wedding anniversary. Placed under the magnificent cedar trees on; the stelly lawn was a lace table centered with a three-tiered cake, decorated with gold leaves and topped with a miniature bride and groom. Arrangements of pink rose buds were flanked on either side.

Mr. and Mrs. Stelly are parents of twelve children, the grandparents of 39 children and the great of 21 children. Approximately 82 guests called during the evening. Visiting In New York Mrs.

Paul Pavy of this city is in New York visiting her daughter Miss Coy Pavy. While in that city she will also spend some time with Miss Ida Pavy and Mrs. Carl Wiess and her young son. Carl Wiess, Mrs. Wiess is the former Miss Yvonne Pavy of this city, Gathering Thursday The warm hospitality of the winter season was much in evidence at the lovely bridge gathering at which Mrs.

Ernest J. Petijtean entertained Thursday afternoon at her home on South Main street. The reception rooms of the home were beautifully decorated for this party with a large quantity of camellias from the Petitjean gardens and of particular note was an arrangement of magnolias placed on the piano in the living room. A delicious refreshment course was served during the afternoon and guests included Mrs. Lesslie Heard, Mrs.

A. Dupont, Jr. Marriage Announced Claiming much interest in this section where the bride has visited frequently with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Richard D.

Lamson, is the announcement made today of the marriage of Miss Pauline Eugene Barto, daughter of Mrs. Ruth E. Barto of Junction City, to Mr. Fred F. Sandoz.

Their marriage was celebrated at the parsonage of the Methodist church in Junction City, Saturday, January 18. Mrs. Edna R. Kurtz Entertains Bridge Club Wednesday Mrs. Edna R.

Kurtz was hostess to the members and additional guests of the Wednesday Bridge club, entertaining in the early evening at her home on Market street. Lovely arrangements of Purple Dorne Camellias and other seasonal flowers were used about the living and dining rooms for this party and at the conclusion of the games a delicious refreshment course was served. Guests included Mrs. James Bourdier, Mrs. Beadle Moore, Mrs.

Chester Johnson, Mrs. 1 L. A. Williamson, Mrs. Rigby Owen, Miss Riseman and Miss Dorothy Lawler.

Mrs. Owen won first prize; Mrs. Williamson, second; and Miss Riseman consolation, Returns From New Orleans Mrs. Earl Perkins returned to her home here Thursday after having spent several days in New Orleans as the guest of her mother and aunt, Mrs. Ann Tuttle and Miss Jessica McBride.

To Attend Krew Of Aparomest Ball In New Orleans Tonight Mrs. E. J. Petitjean, Ernest Petitjean, Mrs. Dean Harrell, and Miss Melba Petitjean, all of Opelousas, Mrs.

Causly Hamic of Midland and Brs. G. D. MeIntire of Lafayette drove to New Orleans this morning to attend the Krew of Aparomest Ball to be held at the Municipal auditorium tonight. Miss Petitjean, who is a member of the Pableau and Masker's dance will participate in the carnival ball.

Residing Here Mr. and Mrs. Cluade Moody and children arrived Monday from Eunice to make their home here. Mrs. Moody is the former Miss Gloria Sandoz of this city and she and Mr.

Moody are at home to their many friends at 526 South Main street.
